Sales Development Representative

Our goal is to aggressively expand our footprint. To achieve this we need to build an amazing team. This starts with our Sales Development Representatives (SDR).

The SDR will generate new business opportunities by following proven processes to prospect into business accounts. Based on exciting new ‘Sales 2.0’ prospecting techniques with a focus on mutual business fit, research and consultative discussion, you will be responsible for creating highly relevant sales opportunities for the closing team. You’ll learn how to identify and research lists of companies to target and how to develop email and telephone campaigns to generate new business opportunities.

At its core, this role is about conducting high-level conversations with executives about their business and how they support their customers. The successful candidate will be someone who is curious about technology and solving problems. If you are a strongly self-motivated and driven individual who is goal-oriented, methodical, and tenacious, and you can effectively interact with a team, the SDR role may be perfect for you.

This position has advancement potential within the sales organization, and the compensation package includes an uncapped commission structure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Learn and execute proven processes to generate new sales opportunities
  • Map prospective accounts around organizational structure, people, and existing technology
  • Engage executives in targeted prospect accounts
  • Orchestrate discussions with senior executives around their business needs
  • Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects
  • Leverage Salesforce and other tools to prospect into specific geographic territories and sectors


  • A commanding desire to learn and succeed in tech sales
  • 2+ years sales or related market/business experience or recently graduated from an accredited university
  • Experience in one of the following: software/SaaS, sales, or other related business experience
  • The ability to write succinct, crisp emails
  • A great phone manner
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
