Account Executive

The Account Executive is responsible for growing new business revenue by establishing and maintaining profitable relationships with prospects on behalf of Vertical Alliance Group.  This role is primarily responsible for actively engaging with generated leads, prospecting for new accounts, and generating new sales and revenue.

As the Account Executive, you are an external representative of our organization. As the key communicator to our prospects, you must convey a sense of expertise in the services and capabilities of our software and the SaaS model.

You are a member of the Sales Team and accountable for meeting 100% of the monthly, quarterly, and annual new business revenue and sales goals as assigned to you individually.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • General and Administrative
    • Communicate effectively with senior management and members of the Sales Team
    • File all reports and other documentation on a timely basis
    • Follow systems and procedures as directed
    • Participate as a key team player by supporting operations as needed
    • Maintain all leads, communications, opportunities, and tasks within Salesforce
  • Sales
    • Actively listen and probe prospects to qualify as a sells opportunity and to clearly understand the prospect’s needs
    • Implement a strategic sales plan that identifies prospects, prioritizing them according to importance and ability to provide results
    • Implement a call schedule to adequately cover either assigned territory or assigned leads and provide reports and data on results
    • Quickly respond to all leads to determine level of interest and qualify for action on the part of the Account Executive or Marketing, whichever is most appropriate
    • Once qualified, actively manage sales leads and advance them through the sales process
    • Support efforts to consistently grow the base of referral sources
    • Effectively demonstrate the software functions and features of the Infinit-I Workforce System, using company approved sales processes on prospects to convey an image of quality, integrity, and superior customer satisfaction
    • Keep current on all new technology and competitive landscape
    • Understand and comply with the sales methodology and processes
    • Provide warm handoff of new customers to Customer Service Team for onboarding

Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of SaaS and B2B selling required
  • Ability to adapt quickly to change within the industry and Vertical Alliance Group as directed by management
  • College degree and/or 5 years combined related sales experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong persuasive and interpersonal skills and a sales aptitude
  • Ability to identify and meet customers’ needs and requirements
  • Self-starter and a problem solver
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
