Get Ready For The New Entry-Level Driver Training (ELDT) Rules

The Entry-Level Driver Training (ELDT) Rule establishes a minimum training standard for entry-level drivers as well as anyone seeking a new endorsement.

The Entry-Level Driver Training regulations are not retroactive; the entry-level driver training requirements do not apply to individuals holding a valid CDL or an S, P, or H endorsement issued prior to February 7, 2022.

All prospective CDL drivers are now required to complete a three-part curriculum comprised of a theory, behind-the-wheel range, and behind-the-wheel road portion. These collectively embody various subjects and require students to demonstrate proficiency in all topics and skills. Furthermore, all students must score at least 80% on a  school-administered assessment before they can be certified to take the CDL exam;

Passing the first part of the 3-part driving test may seem complicated. But don’t fret! Our instructors will guide you with a supportive hand in each video from start to finish, so all you have to do is just focus on passing! We’ve got you covered.

With short videos and interactive test questions taken straight from the CDL exam, drivers learn the information at their own pace. Many prospective drivers finish this training in less than 24 hours.

The Infinit-I ELDT Training Program for Individual Drivers

Infinit-I Workforce Solutions ELDT Training teaches you the topics that are important to know about combination vehicle driving, including training on:

  • Different parts of a combination vehicle.
  • Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
  • Ensuring your cargo is safe.

Additionally, we train you on what happens if you don’t follow the rules in the codebook, including fines and penalties. This unit also tells you about the laws in place to make sure you don’t drive too large of a vehicle on roads that are too small.
